Totally mindboggling! I cannot understand how a whole chain of people thought this was a good idea. From the desinger to the producer and store owner to the parent...

I agree. I think the comment in the NPR story to the effect that "we're raising kids attached to screens" is right on... backseat videos, cellphones for toddlers, and now this. I'm not totally against TV for kids, but there have to be some limits.
