Today from the baffling world of transhumanist politics (last week's episode: Transhumanists and IQ): the results of a poll asking "Will the ability to change skin, hair and body make racism irrelevant?"
It's perhaps a good sign that the majority of these folks apparently aren't so naive. 55% responded that such an ability might actually make things worse (and 25% said yes). The moderator (James Hughes?) apparently isn't happy with that result, writing "Oh my. What a bunch of pessimists."
Update: Bouphonia has a good post about these issues: The New Flesh.
